[What a strange way of treating friendship, gosh...! Shonen Exodioz here sure doesn't understand.]
It makes things much easier. Simple day-to-day things mostly, but it's still nice to have around. [Nodding! He's certainly gotten used to it, despite being from a time long before anything even remotely close to being this advanced was invented.
As for the question:] Oh— the same, I think. Fifteen! [yes... entirely 15 on every planet...]
So it's likely that everyone here has become overly reliant on it. Understood. [He knows all too well the mentality most people will take, although luckily this doesn't seem to be quite the same as The Score.]
Fifteen, you say? [He smiles wryly.] Then in my world's time, you would currently be about... seven and a half.
My, is that so? You shouldn't sell yourself short, Chief. And I don't believe I've met this Mr. Edgeworth yet. How handsome does he happen to be? [He says all of that all so casually.]
[Ah, so this boy is a nerd. Jade gives a light smirk at his curiosity before he holds out his arm for bandaging. It's a very practiced motion, as if he's had to do such a thing many times on the battlefield in the past. Of course, normally things aren't as bad when he has his uniform on.]
That's a wise choice. [There's no telling when another enemy could appear, after all.] Suffice to say, if you're not familiar with the concept of fonons, the explanation may tend to drag on.
[Wow excuse you he is a scientist! (So yes, a nerd.)
Regardless of the distraction, Jude concentrates on the task. With expert hands he unwraps the bandage and then proceeds to wrap it again. He makes it much tighter than Jade had it initially and he manages to make sure it stays put even without the aid of anything to clip it together. It'll hold at least... for a little while.]
Well, I'd be really interested in hearing it sometime. I had no idea there were other worlds here that used artes. [Albeit differently but still...] My name is Jude. Jude Mathis. You are?
[Jade raises a curious eyebrow at the recognition of the casting circle. His new friend and apparent colleague seems to have some familiarity with the concept... as expected of another Guy.]
So we'll let this be an unofficial investigation...
I can hold this as long as need be... but the fact of the matter is that I only needed this bit of light for a certain purpose.
[Jade is then able to locate the right pouch on his uniform from which he withdraws a flashlight.]
[Jade smiles lightly. With the oddness of the items that can show up in this world, he honestly wouldn't be surprised if a person's tooth happened to be among them.]
I honestly don't intend to. All the same, Mr. Kagami, I find myself curious to see how you intend to check yourself out of this hospital.
[Jade taps at his chin a little as he thinks over the information to impart.]
That depends. It's hard to trust people who keep us under such strict surveillance, wouldn't you agree? Not to mention the ways in which our lives are constantly endangered regardless of that, and the fact that they haven't quite presented conclusive proof of their claims. There is not even proof of the existence of the so-called Flamines.
Given all of that, I believe that a little doubt is understandable. Don't you?
Ah, to be young and well-spoken... [He says with a hum as he strides across the room and retrieves the chart from Togami, quickly looking it over. Then he looks up and goes in a very business-like tone.]
Mr. Togami, I seem to be getting the impression that there may be something wrong with your arm. [He looks right at the arm that Togami just used to hand him the chart.]

I am not writing you a written report on my birthday.

I will always accept it at a later date, if it's that much of a trouble, if you're that insistent on enjoying your 'birthday'.

Boo, Colonel! The people here are so stingy and tasteless! I haven't had one marriage proposal! Can you believe it?
[Of course he's happy to see her. Why would he be anything else?]
Are you going to rescue me from these horrible people? [In general or with a proposal? It's hard to say.]
no subject
My, I wonder what sorts of unusual standards they must keep. [He shakes his head lightly.]
So that leaves me to act as your knight in shining armor? I'm afraid that it's a role which I am quite unaccustomed to.
no subject
Yeah. I was just thinking that, honestly.
[And that was almost uncanny, unless the man had people make similar mistakes in the past.]

Define interesting, then I would be happy to tell you. I assure you, this place is 'interesting', but not entirely in ways I appreciate.

I think I do, but I've never cooked before. Cheria always does that back home. [who even did the cooking in Graces house in Luceti? probably Isamu]

That's no problem. I can do well enough at cooking if you can supply me with the recipe.

Meeting of the Long-Haired Jerk Committee
Jade doesn't look quite impressed with what seemed to be a threat. He still handed it over, but with a cheery smile.]
If you insist, Mister... Arcanus, is it?
